If you’re reading this right now, you’re probably on the revenue rollercoaster. But you’re not alone. I see this a lot. And 9/10 x it comes down to having a lead generation problem (for some reason the word ‘lead’ has become a dirty word in the industry – usually said by those who don‘t have a lead problem 🙄).

When it comes to lead flow, I see it comes down to one of two things…

1️⃣ You’re either doing too much in your business…

You have a buffet of offers at different price points, you’re on all the platforms trying to get clients, you don’t have any real content strategy and you’re burning yourself out because nothing seems to work. I find this a common occurrence with OSPs.

2️⃣ Or you’re posting on the daily and doing daily story posts but not getting DMs from dream clients…

This is because you’re waiting for your ideal client to come to you. You’re only relying on attraction marketing to get clients (which is basically posting and praying, hoping that the ever changing IG algorithm will pick it up). In other words, you’re not doing enough. This is something many Coaches fall into.

Let’s get into the heart of the matter: the secret sauce is striking the perfect balance between pulling people in (that’s your inbound marketing) and actively reaching out to them (hello, outbound marketing).

The goal here? 👀

Working smarter, not harder, to keep those leads coming in consistently. There are several strategies out there to get clients, but the all time tried and tested is leveraging a value funnel (inbound marketing) and using the DMs (outbound marketing).

👆This is also how you build a business that isn’t reliant on you showing up every single day.

I’m NOT advocating for those cringe-worthy cold DMs. No, what I’m suggesting is initiating and nurturing conversations that truly bring value to the table. And this isn’t about giving out free advice left and right in DMs or during a discovery call. There’s a fine line between selling and coaching, and crossing it can mean the difference between a trusted relationship and a missed connection. It sets the stage for a sales conversation that unfolds naturally, not one that feelslike a forced pitch.
